Local Animal Shelter Support Organization
(501c3 nonprofit) raises funds that built & support the Elko Animal Shelter's Dumkee Weeks Spay/Neuter Clinic through grants, donations, and bequest.
We strive to eliminate animal overpopulation & euthanasia through the implementation of our spay/ neuter programs for all animals adopted from Elko Animal Shelter
and promote animal welfare projects.
The Elko Animal Shelter basic funding comes from the City of Elko. The Shelter takes surrendered and stray animals throughout Elko County, including Wells and Spring Creek.
The Dumkee/ Weeks Spay/ Neuter facility was built & supported with the donations from L.A.S.S.O. in 2006. Approximately 8,000 Shelter animals have been spayed/neutered.
Our team of Veterinarians and Vet Techs work hard to spay/neuter/ vaccinate/ ID chip all animals adopted from the Elko Animal Shelter Our state-of-the-art facility and equipment ensure that the animals receive the highest quality care.
